Program Introduction - Morgan Burkhard
Hardpoint by DeltaSport would like to welcome Morgan Burkhard, a 16 year old from Charles Town, West Virginia. Burkhard has been in the racing world since he was 6 and has been sim racing since early 2021. As a real driver Burkhard has won 3 different championships in the same year, and is hungry for more championship wins. Burkhard is ready to make as many connections as possible and to improve himself has a driver, and of course, to win races. As a follower in the Aussie V8 Supercars and IMSA, Burkhard already sees himself in the future as a pro or an amateur driver. Burkhard might still be young, but he has the ambition to fight head to head with the top drivers out on the track.
Morgan started his probation/trial period with the team on July 13th and already has completed an event under the HPDS banner along side driver Cameron Martineau in the iRacing Official Peachtree Three supporting the National MS society. The pair made top split and put the HPDS McLaren on pole position and led a good portion of the race but a late strategy call didnt work out in their favor with a late caution flag being thrown. They would cross the line in 10th place for the young lads debut.
