Race Recap - Matt Emery qualified the #34 in 14th place and quickly moved through the field to finish the first heat in P8. The top 6 are inverted for the feature event (Heat 2) which put him just behind the leaders. Right away Emery had to go on the defensive against the 9.2K driver of Peter Berryman which caused him to loose some time to the front pack and hurt any chances of him following the likes of Sebastian Job through the field to make a run for the top5. Matt was able to hold off the Apex Racing driver for a large portion of the race but would loose out after a 3 wide attempt into T1 which caused one driver to spin off after contact with Peter which still has to be reviewed. Emery would finish unofficially P9 and depending on if action is taken against Berryman for that incident we could find himself finish P8. Those results have yet to be published. 

Brands Hatch was a better result for Matt compared to Silverstone where he picked up damage and a slow down during a battle in the second heat which put him off pace. 4 top 10s in the opening 4 rounds of the series is a good start despite Matt saying that his goals for the series are to finish in the top 6.
