Marteau Seals his 2nd F3 Championship 🏆 this week!

Hungaroring was the destination for the final round of the iGPF Formula 3 championship. Qio-Tiago Marteau qualified 2nd with Christophe Herbigneaux just behind in 3rd place. The DeltaSport Duo would finish in that same order pushing Herbigneaux back into 2nd place after drop rounds were calculated. This would also give DeltaSport the teams championship! 1-2 Punch in the drivers championship capped off with the overall teams trophy as well. 

Marteau would finish with a unmatched 7 wins on the season and 11 podiums. The season consisted of 12 rounds with only the top 10 rounds from each driver counting toward final points. Christophe himself finished with 1 win, and 9 podiums which ended their season 51pts ahead of 3Drap Squadra Corse One. 

Both drivers are looking to step away form Formula 3 to focus on prototype racing for IVRA and SCO competitions with the team. Herbigneaux who already is a known member of those series has curiosity in the new F4 coming to the service and could very much see him remain in single seater action. Marteau is keen on taking on a new challenge in the endurance scene in the prototype class and already has been founding testing over the past few weeks.
