Week Recap
We are headed full force into the month of July with a lot more racing ahead of us. 2 new drivers have started their trail period, and are a ready for their new adventures. Stay tuned for more updates, and for more race results!
New Arrivals
Matias Orjuela, a young Columbian racer who kick started his racing career when he was 7 years old. Orjuela only started his sim racing during the 2020 pandemic, but since then he has been cruising through the circuits, and has found himself in the top 10 in the Daytona 24 Hour race. As a racer, Orjuela is ready to take his speed to the next level, and wants to witness what being on a really good team is like. An adrenaline seeker like Orjuela, he finds himself watching Formula 1 Racing, and enjoys the high speed competition. Orjuela might be young, but he is the one to go head to head with all of the seasoned drivers on the track.
Robin Glerum, a Dutch karting driver who has been driving since he was 10 years old. Glerum started out in indoor karting, then adventured off into outdoor karting in Rotax Max Juniors. At the age of 15, Glerum switched to the K72 shifter category where he still participates in today. As a real and sim driver Glerum states that sim has help him a lot for being consistent as possible in lap times, as well as tire wear. With that being said, Glerum found himself as Vice Dutch Champion in the K72 category, and still has more drive to be a top competitor. During his trial period Glerum wants to become a serious contenders in the bigger championships/ endurance races on iRacing. Glerum has a need for speed, and that will shine through has he speeds through his trail period, and challenges other drivers on the track.
